How to Start a Guild?

I was wondering how I could start a guild? I'm trying to get some gamers from our website to head over here and we were going to start a guild. Who should I talk to, what should I do?

Well Mr.Wsoup, since you have to be a smartass. It doesn't help that 60+ people looked at this post and you were the only one that responded, not very helpful of the community. Now I /ooc'd in game and I asked several people but no one was willing to help. After about 5 days of trying to find a Gm to ask (which is what I was really trying to do to start the guild but they were busy) That's why I asked on here, so keep your smartass comments to yourself, they don't help and they just make me want to start a great guild to rub in your little inconsiderate face. The name of the guild is Gothic Circle and it's up already. Not sure if you got your guild started yet but right now is one of the worst times to get something like this done. Basically you just need to contact a GM while you have enough people online who want to start the guild (I cannot remember the required number)

GMs are a bit busy and there is a little less organization that before the evil DDoS took down all the EQemu boards and the project1999 boards. Once all that stuff is restored it should be quite a bit easier to start up your guild.
